I always make sure I check out the new products when Redbubble releases one. Yesterday I received my design "Aloha" on mugs. Oh my, I have to say I was so pleasantly surprised as they are really gorgeous. The art work is bright, glossy and beautiful and the mugs are a gorgeous shape (my fav to drink coffee out of). A successful book week at school, all the plans for the next Christmas Bauble workshop are complete, Christmas on line shopping arrived, birthday art celebrations and a 5 day cleanse. What a great week! As some of you know, I have been having a love affair with Elephants for a while. There is so much to love about them and I think the main one is their love. They are so full hearted and gentle with their herds and family, yet they are such huge and strong creatures. It is no wonder then that Ganesh is such a well worshiped Hindu deity, also know as the God of beginnings. I love the beginning of something, a new day, the start of a new art work, a new group of people at my art workshops and especially the beginning of a journey. So in fact my new art work could be called "The Beginning" but I am looking forward to seeing "The Elephant God" around. SHOP       My new iPhone case arrived today and I know I am going to love my Pineapple design during our upcoming summer. My Redbubble shop has also just released the new cases for the iPhone 6. To shop phone cases click HERE I have loved making my "Aloha" series on wood panels. I created them last year using original, vintage Hawaiian music sheets and images. Each one was hand made with love, water colour, sealed and then polished with bees wax varnish. It was wonderful to see how many people loved them and I am so grateful that there is a little bit of "Aloha" out there in peoples homes. I won't be making these anymore and this is the last one.
