What a week (or two). Sydney put on a show with "Vivd". Some paintings were delivered to Late September in Glenbrook. A new amazing, awesome and exciting shop is opening in Springwood called Bella Boheme ,they are live on line to shop (gosh I know some clever people in the Blue Mountains). Sydney turned it on for our long weekend, look at the colour of that water! One of my art works on a scarf SHOP and last but not least, my boy is in Jerusalem, jealous? You bet I am!
I love that red bubble are expanding their repertoire of products. This is the first I'd like to introduce to you.......
Draw string bags, great for library bags, shopping or caring your art supplies!
Any form of success is not complete unless it is followed with gratitude. Gratefulness, to the support of friends and family and gratitude for those who are part of your definition of success, which in my case are the people who love my paintings so much that they part with their hard earned money to own one. Thank you to the beautiful Sam from Late September for her ongoing and unwavering support of my art work. I am back at the easel enjoying being busy after she has sold all my pieces. Love and light to all.
From Manly to Glenbrook, it has been a lovely week. To shop for my pouches you can click here My Redbubble Shop, and to see what Late September is up to click here! Happy Mothers Day to all for this Sunday,
I am very happy that I have finished another painting. I had hoped to evoke new imagery but another lady appeared, unintentionally. I was mentioning this to a dear friend of mine and she said "Maybe you are creating a tribe". I loved that idea and so "Dream Tribe" was born. Filled with symbols and shapes depicting strength, unity and spirituality this dream scape is bound to the mountains tomorrow to the beautiful shop Late September. If you would like a print of her, have a look at my Redbubble shop where you can find Dream Tribe on all my products.
I have a new painting that I just finished, it just needs photographing and D-Rings fitted before it is ready to be sent out into the world. I love that the process of painting is just fun for me now. I don't do the "Is this good enough? conversation in my head, because if I did I would never paint again. The process and joy, the feel of paint and the execution is what makes a piece of art. If all these ingredients are working then the end result will look after itself.
In the mean time Redbubble are kicking some exciting goals! They have launched a new product....scarves, they are sheer, pretty and perfect for the upcoming cooler months. I hope you like them.
I love receiving packages from Redbubble as I know they are going to be great quality. The cards are well priced and the imagery is beautiful. I always buy some of my own designs and also some of my favourite Redbubble artist. Below is Heart 1 by Bec Schopen, Beautiful by Bec Schopen, Namaskar by Silva and Tangled by Catrin Weltz - Stein.
I have been working hard in my Redbubble shop. RB decided to do some platform changes and this inspired me to clean up the look of my shop. I have cleaned up my portfolio and just done some behind the scene things to make it all work better for you. I have also made some collections. Shopping is easier, you now just select an art work and go to the bottom of the screen and it shows all the products that art work is available on. Very nifty! So if you are looking at an art work in my Redbubble portfolio, all you have to do is go to the bottom of the screen to see all the products that art work is available on! Easy peasy!!!
It is also just in time for the launch of a new product. The "Studio Pouch", this gorgeous new product comes in two sizes, lots of different designs and can be used for all sorts of things, so get your imagination working.
I am really excited. For a long time it has crossed my mind that some of my art work would look great on leggings (for those of you in the yoga world, you would know that everyone is wild for crazy patterns and fun colours). I haven't quite been able to achieve this little pipe dream, I rang a couple of companies to try and licence my work but with no luck. Anyway, today I had a lovely email from Redbubble and they are now producing leggings for our Redbubble shops! Little happy dance......this is the art work I have wanted to see on leggings but, what I would love is for you to have a look at all my work (click on the link) and let me know which designs you would like to see on this cool new product, please? Or to shop for these two designs click the shop button. http://www.redbubble.com/people/pink70
